My Story

My name is Kristin McKee. I am a child of God, a women, a wife to an amazing husband since 2020, and a mother to a sweet little boy, an angel baby gone way too soon, and another little boy on the way. I am a Labor and Delivery nurse since 2020; user of the Marquette Method NFP model since 2020; a Natural Family Planning Instructor through the Marquette University since 2022 and Certified since 2024; a Certified Lactation Consultant since 2023; and lastly, a women, wife, and mother navigating this world in the most natural and holistic way for my family.

Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine but once I had my first child, it became something that I wanted to pursue to be able to stay home not to only be a mother to him but also fulfill my duties as a wife. I want to help provide for our family but I see the value in the wife not only taking care of her husband, but taking care of the house and raising the children as well. Working full time and long hours was taking me away from the roles and responsibilities I felt God was calling me to. I had to figure out what that was going to be and trust God’s timing in the process.

When I first got this calling on my heart, I reached out to my Natural Family Planning instructor to see how I could become a teacher to help make money on the side to be able to go part time at my job. I took online courses to get my Natural Family Planning Instructor Certificate through Marquette University and started teaching through her business. Then, just over a year later I had the desire to become a Lactation Consultant. A position opened up at the hospital I am currently employed at and I absolutely love helping other mothers in their breastfeeding journey. My breastfeeding journey was a special part of my son’s life that I will always cherish, I find so much joy and fulfillment in helping other moms experience those moment as well.

I will be providing education and counseling with Natural Family Planning; Breastfeeding and Childbirth classes to help mothers and fathers become the best they can be before their precious little one arrives; Lactation education and consultations to help new or experienced mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals; Miscarriage support as 1 in 4 woman, including myself, have gone through a miscarriage. Miscarriages impact our lives forever, it is hard to navigate a miscarriage no matter what the babys age at the time of loss; Natural and Holistic resources for wives and mothers to be informed about the decisions they make for their family’s. Guidance for a healthy life style and consuming natural foods. Trading out these things in your everyday life can be confusing and overwhelming; and lastly, I want to be a light for God and a support person for many women, wives, and mothers.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; in all
your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
