Breastfeeding & Lactation Services

Breastfeeding is a natural way to nourish our babies from birth to beyond 1 year of age but sometimes it does not always feel natural. Learning how to breastfeed and provide breastmilk throughout your breastfeeding journey can be overwhelming especially in the early days. Seeking help from a Certified Lactation Consultant can help overcome barriers throughout your breastfeeding journey. New or experienced mothers may need help as every baby and breastfeeding journey is different. Hiring a Certified Lactation Consultant can help you with anything related to breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle feeding to allow your baby to be nourished by you throughout their first couple years of life.

  • Pumping is apart of 90% of breastfeeding mothers journeys. Weather that is being a stay at home mom simply needing some milk for when you have a girls night out or if you are a working mother and needing to have milk for the babysitter to feed your little one while your away. Having the proper flange size is key in adequate removal of milk and preventing a decrease in supply, clog ducts, mastitis, and more. This appointment takes 15-30 minutes and I will make sure you properly know how to work your pump as well. This can be at your location or mine.

  • A weight check is free of charge. If a more extensive appointment is needed, a separate time may need to be scheduled and fees will apply. You can obtain a weight check for follow up from a prior lactation visit or to see how baby is growing.

  • Just have a simple question or wanting to know if you need an appointment to better assist you and your baby in whatever you are dealing with? Call or text your question! I can give you simple advise to help resolve your issue and let you know if an in person consult would be best.
